“Colors of Resilience: A Creative Healing Journey for Seniors”

November 5 @ 9:00 am12:00 pm
Senior Citizen Creating Expressive Art Using Epoxy Resin

Purpose:
To provide a safe, non-clinical space for Senior Citizens, their families, and community members to express, process, and reconnect through various art forms — without judgment or pressure for “artistic skill.”

Core Principles

  • Non-judgmental Expression: No critique, grading, or ranking
  • Process over Product: Focus on the journey, not the outcome
  • Choice & Autonomy: Participants choose materials and level of sharing
  • Safe Storytelling: Share only what feels comfortable, avoid graphic details
  • Community Connection: Build trust and mutual support

Main Creative Activity (60–90 min)

  1. Painting Station – Acrylics/watercolors for “Painting My Inner Landscape”
  2. Drawing Station – Chalk pastels/colored pencils for “Mapping My Journey”
  3. Sculpting Station – Air-dry clay for “Holding My Strength”
  4. Collage Station – Magazines, photos, and found objects for “Vision of Tomorrow”
